How do I?

Hey all,

I posted a few pics from Tyson's Dallas show.  I have about twenty and have posted three, but wanted some help before I finish posting.  First, the three I posted are HUGE.  So when people click on them, it's kind of annoying that you have to scroll all over to see it or download it.  How do I make some that are a bit smaller so they are more accessible (or are they cool they way they are)?   Also, I mislabeld the first two as July instead of August.  But I can't seem to change the titles. 

I have several very clear pictures which are great.  I also have several distorted pictures that, because of the effects of the digital camera, look really cool.

Hey Boots,

I've used Photoshop in the past to scale them down.  There's a feature in the File menu to save it to the web.  You can set it to save as a JPG in medium or high quality, that usually does the trick.  There is a free Photoshop like program called Pain.net that I think will do the same thing.  I've gotten pretty good results scaling it to 640x480 or 800x600.  You can get Paint.net from:

To rename a picture, you should just be able to click on the picture you a want to change and click Edit File Information.  It should bring up all the fields to edit.  If you don't se it, let me know, it could be something silly in the forum.

Hey Dave,

The Photoshop thing worked!  I re-loaded one of the pictures, and it comes up much better.  I'll get to working on resizing the others.  I could leave the big ones up and call them tyson01-big and tyson01-small, etc. . . if you think people would want the original sizes.  What do you think?

Hey all,

I loaded up about seven of the pics after re-sizing, but photoshop reports unusual sizes v. what I see when I view the pics in the gallery.  Do the several I've posted look good or should I go back to the drawing board.  Even the seven I've posted report all weird sizes in photoshop.   hmmm
